Thrown, black clay (680 smooth), fired to earthenware. Glazed in turquoise (first coat) followed by transparent on top (Liz's suggestion originally). Worked nicely in leaving patches of colour on top of a darker base. NB that the glaze ran off the pot slightly, so it stuck to the glaze shelf.
